Option 4: Setting up your own server/client environment for older operating systems

Use Case

A clear division is needed between components and projects on an older and a current operating system.

Proceed as follows

1. Set up a system with the new version of octoplant with server and clients.

2. At the same time, set up a versiondog system with version 8.5.1 to be able to use the clients on older operating systems.

Clear separation between those projects which are managed on older operating systems and the current projects	Additional costs for the separate systems
