Unpairing the agents from the server

To unpair the agent and server, for example, if the ID has changed during a hardware replacement, proceed as follows:

1. Stop the service of the corresponding agent (VDog CompareAgent or VDog UploadAgent).

2. In the agent archive, delete the VD$A\Configuration\Local\AccessTokens.txt file.

3. In the server archive, delete the file corresponding to the agent in the directory \VD$A\Configuration\Local\NamedTokens\Agents\. The name of the file contains the address of the agent and, if applicable, the gateway. The server can remain in operation and does not have to be terminated.

Once the agent service is restarted, the agent will run in initialization mode again and will be automatically paired with the server as soon as a connection with the agent is established.
