Network overview

The Network overview report provides a clear view of the hierarchy of assets and their dependencies within the network. It helps you understand how different components are connected and organized.

Content and structure

For each asset, the report displays the following information:

  • Server
  • Component path
  • Component name
  • Asset category
  • Asset name
  • Network address

The visualization focuses on relationships and hierarchy rather than on a flat list. This approach makes it easier to see how assets are arranged in the network and how they depend on each other.

Use case

The Network overview report is useful for smaller projects where you want to quickly understand the network structure and asset dependencies. Because it emphasizes interconnected components, the number of items shown in this view is often higher than the number of assets in a device-focused list.

For larger or more complex projects, the readability of this report may decrease due to the volume of interconnected assets and network elements.
