This topic describes the operating system, hardware, and network connection requirements for the Octoplant server.
Supported operating systems for the Octoplant server
The Octoplant server can be used on 64-bit Windows operating systems, starting with Windows Server 2019.
Do not use Windows versions that Microsoft no longer supports.
Hardware requirements for the Octoplant server

Network connection requirements between the Octoplant server and end devices
Minimum requirement: 100 Mbit/s
Recommended: 1000 Mbit/s

When you create disk images with the Image Service, Acronis, or Drive Snapshot, no general minimum requirement can be specified. The data to be backed up must be transferred within 4 hours.
