Define a synchronization partner
This topic describes how to define a synchronization partner before you create a synchronization job.
Synchronization jobs are created for specific partners, meaning servers. Before you create a job, you must define a synchronization partner.
- Start the AdminClient and open the Server synchronization module.
- Select Edit partners in the menu bar.
- The Server configuration dialog opens.
- Enter the name and IP address of the server in the Configuration name and Server address fields.
- Select Test connection to make sure that a connection is possible between the two servers.
- When all ports are displayed in green, save your settings using Save.
