Option 1: Updating the client systems (operating system)¶

Use case¶

For IT security reasons, the older operating systems are updated/replaced so that octoplant can be used with the latest clients/agents.

Advantages:

• Use of current operating systems
• Higher level of IT security
• Direct access to new features/functions of octoplant

Disadvantages

• Effort for updating the affected systems
