Components¶

Version¶

If you deactivate the checkbox, you cannot delete any versions (e.g. old versions that are no longer needed) from the server archive.

Comment¶

Here you can specify the minimum number of characters that a user must enter as a comment when creating/deleting versions or for the lock status of a component. The checkbox Also apply for base versions requires that you also comment on the creation of the base version.

Directory structure¶

If you deactivate the checkbox, only a simple directory structure is possible in your server archive (e.g. Directory/Subdirectory/.../Component).

Quicksave¶

If the Enable Quicksave checkbox is activated, the Quicksave button is displayed in the UserClient in the Extras tab on the right-hand side. Here you can determine how many quicksaves each user may create per component before older quicksaves are overwritten (the default setting is 5).
