Authentication settings

If you have a GxP license, the following additional authentication options are displayed in the Security tab of the Global settings.

• Additional user authentication for creating a new version necessary: When creating a version, the user is prompted to authenticate themselves.
• Additional user authentication necessary for Check-In: When checking in, the user is prompted to authenticate themselves.
• Enable two-person rule for creating a new version and Check-In: Authentication is performed for both versioning and Check-In, the two authentications must be performed by different users.

Alternatively, the settings can be made in the Server.ini file (\vdClientArchive\VD$A\Configuration\Server.ini) in the [GMP] section.
