Scripting
Activation
If you want to use scripts in octoplant, you must enable them using the checkboxes. The scripts are executed on the server, the clients or on both, depending on the use case.
If you receive a timeout message when doing this, you can adjust the waiting times in the dialogs. The default values are 15 minutes.
Synchronization
If you deactivate this checkbox, the consistency check of the scripts during synchronization between client and server is omitted.
Upload scripts
If you activate this checkbox, the values in the configuration file are decrypted before a BeforeUpload script application is executed on the server. This also includes the user's login data that was specified during job configuration.
Sensitive data exposed in scripts
This configuration file contains login credentials, including user passwords, in plain text.
Only use trusted scripts and restrict server access to authorized personnel.
