Executing actions

You can perform the configured actions with or without prior estimation of the storage space on the server and in the selected directory.

Performing actions without estimation

  1. Click on the Perform action without estimation estimation button.

  2. The Perform action dialog is displayed.

    The dialog shows the progress of the action in the form of two progress bars. The messages for the individual sub-steps of the action are displayed in the lower area.

Performing actions with estimation

  1. Click on the Perform action button.

  2. The Space estimation dialog opens.

    The free and occupied storage space of the server and the selected directory before and after executing the action is displayed here in the form of pie charts. This allows you to see, for example, before executing the action whether there is enough storage space in the target directory or, if the storage space on the server is running low, whether the data should be moved rather than copied.

  3. Click on the Perform action button.

  4. The action is executed as described above.
