Logging in with SSO

Proceed as follows for the first Login:

On the home screen, in the Server field, select Server configuration from the drop-down list.

Then activate the Single Sign-On checkbox in the login dialog of the Server configuration.

Click Save and Close to complete the configuration.
- The fields Username, Password and Domain are deactivated in the login dialog.
- You can log in without entering anything by clicking the Log in button.
- The SSO functionality is also available for a local login on your computer under Local. The requirement for local login is met if you have previously logged in to the server once and the checkbox Single Sign-On is activated.

The Web server in octoplant does not support SSO.

Single Sign-On can be activated in the server configuration in the Csc_{server name}-Server.ini file. The file can be found in the server archive under: \vdog client setup\configC\VD$A\Configuration\csc_{server name}-Server.ini .
- Open the
Csc_{server name}-Server.inifile. - Add the [Common] section and the
SingleSignOn=Ykey. - Start the installation through the network share on the server.
