Logging in with SSO

Proceed as follows for the first Login:

  1. On the home screen, in the Server field, select Server configuration from the drop-down list.

  2. Then activate the Single Sign-On checkbox in the login dialog of the Server configuration.

  3. Click Save and Close to complete the configuration.

  4. The fields Username, Password and Domain are deactivated in the login dialog.
  5. You can log in without entering anything by clicking the Log in button.
  6. The SSO functionality is also available for a local login on your computer under Local. The requirement for local login is met if you have previously logged in to the server once and the checkbox Single Sign-On is activated.

The Web server in octoplant does not support SSO.

Single Sign-On can be activated in the server configuration in the Csc_{server name}-Server.ini file. The file can be found in the server archive under: \vdog client setup\configC\VD$A\Configuration\csc_{server name}-Server.ini . Open the Csc_{server name}-Server.ini file. Add the section [Common] and the key SingleSignOn=Y. Start the installation through the network share on the server.
