BackupClient — Quick Reference

If you already have experience with octoplant, the information on this page will be sufficient for you to perform the basic steps with the BackupClient.

Work with BackupClient - Main steps

The BackupClient operates according to the following process:

  1. Sync jobs from server

    Login to server in BackupClient -> select jobs -> select Synchronize

  2. Execute jobs on-site

    Log in locally -> connect to device -> select job(s) -> select Execute selected jobs once

  3. Sync results back to server (upload results and audit trail)

    Login to server in BackupClient -> select executed job(s) -> select Synchronize
