BackupClient user interface

The BackupClient essentially consists of 4 areas:

The main functions of the BackupClient can be executed via the buttons in the menu bar.

Project tree

In the BackupClient Project tree, all components for which jobs have been created in the AdminClient for execution using the BackupClient and their superordinate directories are displayed.

The Project tree can be shown and hidden using the Project tree button in the View tab in the menu bar.

Job table

The job table displays all jobs of the component selected in the Project tree that were created in the AdminClient for execution using the BackupClient.

When the BackupClient is opened, the top directory level is selected in the Project tree by default and all existing jobs are displayed.

  • Jobs that are only available on the server and not yet on the BackupClient are displayed in gray and have the status Does not exist on BackupClient. These jobs cannot be executed.
  • Jobs that have already been synchronized once on the BackupClient are displayed in black.

The layout of the job table can be customized using the buttons in the View tab in the menu bar.

Job results table

If the job selected in the job table has already been executed, the associated job results are displayed in the job results table.

You can select multiple jobs in the job table by holding down the Ctrl key. In this case, all the results of the selected jobs are displayed in the job results table.
