Set the language of the BackupClient

The language of the BackupClient is not set with that of the other clients in the UserClient, it is independent of it. The configuration in the Client settings dialog also has no influence on the BackupClient.

The language of the server messages is defined in the Global settings module of the AdminClient.

To change the language of the BackupClient, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the Extras tab in the menu bar.
  2. In the dropdown menu Language, select the language in which you want to display the GUI.
  3. The Change language message is displayed, informing you that the application must be restarted to change the language.
    • To change the language immediately, select Restart now.
    • To restart the application later and display it in the current language until then, select Restart later.

The language change will take effect after you restart the application.
