Assigning standard libraries to projects

To display matches and differences between the blocks installed in the project and their standard libraries in LibraryManagement, a standard library must always be assigned to the project. This step is also carried out in the UserClient.

Procedure

  1. In the UserClient, select the component with the project to which you want to assign a standard library.
  2. Right-click on the selected component and select the Edit component configuration entry from the context menu.
  3. The Component configuration dialog opens.

    Info

This dialog only displays libraries that are available locally. First make sure which libraries you want to assign.

  7. You can use the button Icon Arrow R to transfer the selected standard library to the Standard libraries assigned to component area.

    Info

It is also possible to assign several standard libraries to a component.

  8. Confirm with OK.

  9. Click on the Apply button in the Component configuration dialog.
  10. Create a new version and check it in.

Info

If you manage several projects in a component and you assign a standard library to it, the standard library is also assigned to all projects.
