Compare blocks
Prerequisites
- A supported component type is selected for comparison.
- A standard library is assigned to the project.
- Projects and libraries have versioned, checked-in components.
Info
Block comparison always uses the latest versions. Comparison can occur at component, project, or block level. If no data appears, use Free scan.
Procedure
- Start the LibraryManagement.
- In the Home tab, select Update from server.

In the Project tree, choose a project to analyze.
octoplant searches the selected project for built-in standard library blocks and displays the results in a tabular overview.
