If you work with people outside your company, they may need to access your files and make changes to them.

In Octoplant, the term supplier refers to all external staff. Suppliers are people who are not employees and are therefore not created as users in the User management module of the AdminClient.
Suppliers can be integrated into Octoplant so that they can edit projects even if they are not users in your Octoplant system. Use Supplier Check-Out and SmartImport for supplier projects when you want to retain all organization-related benefits (such as central data storage, documentation, version history, and avoidance of duplication) without creating a supplier user account in your system.
