Upload and compare

The Upload and compare function allows you to execute a job and compare the working directory with the version on the device.

  1. In the Project tree, select a component for which at least one job is defined.

    If no job is available, the Upload and compare button is disabled.

  2. Open the Extras tab in the menu bar and select Upload and compare.

  3. In the Upload and compare dialog, select Upload and compare again.

The job is executed.

The Comparison dialog opens, displaying the differences between the working directory and the device version.

After a successful upload and comparison, the Upload and compare successful dialog offers the following options:

  • Copy backup to directory
  • Finish (closes the dialog)
