Displaying details on individual objects

With Smart View, you can display detailed information about project content in a targeted way. It supports all comparable objects, including blocks, diagrams, and tables. The view adapts automatically to your selection and opens in a separate dialog.

How to use Smart View

  1. In the Project tree, switch to the logical view.

  2. Expand the desired component until you can select the relevant block or object.

    Once a valid selection is made, the Smart View button in the Home tab of the menu bar becomes active (it is grayed out by default).

  3. Select the Smart View button to open the detailed view.

The Smart View dialog provides the following options:

  • Search for specific information within the view
  • Print the displayed content or export it as a PDF
  • Configure settings, such as language preferences or whether to show symbol comments
