Component log

The Component log in the UserClient provides a comprehensive audit trail of all Check-In and Check-Out activities performed on components within the system. This log is instrumental for administrators and users to monitor changes, ensure compliance, and facilitate troubleshooting by offering detailed insights into component interactions.

To access and use the Component log, proceed as follows:

  1. Start the UserClient.
  2. Select the Extras tab in the ribbon menu.
  3. Select Component log.
  4. In the Component log window, you can:

    • View entries based on specific criteria such as time range, user, or component ID
    • Sort entries by clicking the column headers, allowing for easier analysis of the data
    • Display/hide log data columns by selecting the Visible columns button

In addition, you can export the log entries to a CSV or JSON file for external review or archival purposes.
