Selecting a component in the Project tree

The Project tree represents the directory structure of your projects and components.

You can navigate between the directories and components in the Project tree in the same way as in the Windows Explorer, using the mouse.

To search for a specific component, enter a search term in the field at the top of the Project tree.

Displaying information on components

Select a component in the Project tree. The Details tab in the component overview displays information about the selected component.

  • The name and path of the component in the Project tree are displayed directly in the component overview.
  • The component ID, the ID of the component type as well as the master data are displayed in the Details tab.

To copy the component ID and the component type ID to clipboard, select the buttons next to the corresponding field.
