Image Service¶

The Image Service is a solution for the automated creation of images of Windows PCs and servers. In the event of a problem, important data can be restored with a backup image.

The images are created automatically by jobs in octoplant. After configuring the job, the Image Service is installed remotely on the device that is to be backed up. The created image is stored in a configurable location on a network drive.
