Prerequisites¶

License¶

• License for the Image Service
• You can also create a job for testing without a license.
• With the DEMO version, up to 10 jobs can be used/tested within the demo license period.

Operating system of the device to be backed up¶

• Windows PCs: Windows XP SP3, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10
• Windows Server: Server 2003 and higher

Required user rights¶

• Device to be backed up: The user under which the remote installation is carried out requires administrative rights to the device to be backed up.
• Storage location: Read and write rights are required for the storage location.

Ports that must be enabled in the firewall¶

• 64007: For remote installation and operation of the Image Service
• 64008: For the web installer
