Prerequisites
License
- A valid license is required to use the full functionality of the Image Service.
Info
The Image Service feature is included with every octoplant license, so no additional module or package needs to be purchased.
- For testing purposes, you can create jobs without a license.
- The demo version allows you to create and test up to 10 jobs during the demo license period.
Supported operating systems
- Windows PCs: Windows XP SP3, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11.
- Windows Servers: Server 2003 and newer.
Required user rights
- Backup device: The user performing the remote installation must have administrative rights on the device to be backed up.
- Storage location: Read and write permissions are required for the designated storage location.
Firewall requirements
The following ports must be open in the firewall:
- 64007: For remote installation and operation of the Image Service.
- 64008: For the web installer.
