Testing the created image¶

You can subsequently test a created image using the Snapshot.exe application from Drive Snaphot.

To access the Snapshot.exe file, copy the job result in the UserClient as a backup to a directory.

Testing an image¶

1. Start the Snapshot.exe application.

2. Click on the Restore disk from file button.

   

3. The Select Image to Restore dialog opens.

   

4. Use the Browse button to select the image file in the file system. If you have previously copied the job result to a directory as backup, you can specify the corresponding directory here. Alternatively, select the directory that you configured as the storage location for the image in the job configuration.

5. Select the Test Image button.

6. The result is displayed in a separate dialog.
