Add project files and edit them in the Project tree view
After you add a component type library, the Project tree view opens. Here, you can include directories containing files for which components should be created automatically.
The Project Tree View toolbar provides quick access to key functions: adding folders, creating directories, extracting archives, filtering, excluding components, deleting nodes, and more.

Add projects
- Select Open/Add Folder (Ctrl+O).
-
Browse to one or more project directories.
Multiple folders can be added at once.
-
Select OK to confirm.
The folder structure is scanned and displayed in the Project Tree View.
Create new folders in the tool
You can create empty directories directly in the Project tree view. These folders exist only inside the tool until export.
-
Select New Folder in the toolbar or right-click a folder or empty space in the Project tree view and select New directory.
A folder named
New directory,New directory_1, etc. is created. The selected folder becomes the parent. If no folder is selected, the new folder appears at the root. -
Rename the new directory by editing the component name (if marked as components).
Extract one or multiple archives
The Project Integrator Tool supports ZIP, RAR, 7Z, and other archive formats.
Extract a Single Archive
- Select the archive.
- Select Uncompress.
Contents are extracted to a temporary directory. Extracted content appears in the Project tree view.
Extract All Archives
- Select Uncompress All.
All archives are extracted automatically. Extracted archives remain in temporary directories and are copied to the export location during export.
Filter the tree view
- Enter text into the filter field.
-
Select Set Filter (Enter).
Only matching nodes are shown.
To reset the view, clear the filter field and apply the filter again.
Exclude and include components
You can exclude components from the CSV export. Excluded components appear faded in the tree.
- Exclude: Select node(s) → Exclude element
- Include: Select excluded node(s) → Include element
Hide configured components
Use Hide/Show configured components to toggle visibility of components that already have an assigned type. This helps you focus on remaining items.
Remove nodes
You can remove one or more nodes—root folders or individual entries by using the Delete element button or the known keyboards shortcuts.
