Dialog for component-independent scripts

If you click on the button for a component-independent script, a dialog with the corresponding message Running script "%1" ... is displayed.

If an error occurs when executing the script, an error message is displayed.

Dialog for component-specific scripts

The prerequisite is that you select at least one component from the component-specific script in the Project tree or in the Component details area. If you select n components using the script, you will be shown a warning that the script is being executed for n components. You now have the option of executing the script or canceling the action.

Info

You can hide this warning. The warning setting can also be configured via the Client settings in the UserClient.

  • A progress bar is displayed while the script is being executed.
  • You can cancel the application of the script to multiple components at any time. If the process is canceled, you will receive a note stating that the script is still waiting to be completed for the current component. This execution cannot be canceled.
  • If an error occurs, it is displayed and you are asked how you would like to proceed.
