Integrating exported objects

1. Start the UserClient with the right mouse button as administrator.
2. Create a new component. Select Wonderware System Platform or AVEVA System Platform as component type.
3. Start the ArchestrA IDE also as administrator and connect to the Galaxy.
4. Export the desired objects to the working directory of the component. The export creates files of the type {Name}.aaPKG.
5. Select the Wonderware System Platform component in the Project tree in the UserClient and click on the button Create base version and Check-In.

You can have objects exported automatically for each new version. To do this, the programs Bootstrap and Archestra IDE must be installed and licensed.

Proceed as follows:

1. Open the Component configuration in the UserClient.
2. Open the Comparator configuration.
3. Activate the Export objects to aaPKG each time a new version is created checkbox.
4. Fill in the fields for the GR-Node, Galaxy, Username and Password.
5. You can use the Objects list to specify which objects are exported from the Galaxy.
6. If you enter an area in the Area, all objects assigned to this area are exported (See below).

The same is also possible with a complete backup (CAB).

Special feature of Wonderware/ AVEVA when exporting areas to octoplant

Subordinate automation objects are not exported.
