Creating jobs for In-Sight FTP¶
- Start the AdminClient and open the Jobs module.
- Select your Cognex In-Sight component in the Project tree.
- Click on the Create button or drag and drop the component into the Jobs area.
- Check that the upload type Cognex Sensors is displayed in the Job configuration area.
- Configure the general sections General, Notification, Upload and compare and Create a version automatically after job run. The sections Notification and Create aversion automatically after job run are only displayed if the settings required for this have been made.
- Configure the settings in the Cognex Sensors section:
- Select the In-Sight (FTP) device class in the Type dropdown menu.
- Enter the IP address or the name of the device in the Device field.
- If you want to use passive FTP, activate the corresponding checkbox.
- Enter the login data for the device in the User and Password fields.
- If images in JPG or BMP format are to be saved and included in the upload, activate the checkbox With pictures.
The backup created is identical to the project created by Cognex In-Sight. The result is suitable for a detailed comparison, further processing and disaster recovery.
