Hirschmann Switches
octoplant supports the management of Hirschmann switch configurations and enables the automatic creation of backups and the cyclical monitoring of switches.

Other requirements
- For job execution, the corresponding outgoing and incoming ports (SSH and TFTP) must be enabled on the server.
- The configuration of RS switches is backed up as a binary backup, a comparison is not possible.
- A comparison is only possible for the RS series from Hirschmann Switch Firmware 09.0.13 (Classic Switch Software). The backup is made as a backup in text format.
- The configuration of RSP switches is made as a backup in XML format.
- The configuration of HiSecOs switches is made as a backup in XML format.
- The configuration of ONE switches is made as a backup in text format.
