Creating jobs

To perform the upload for KISTLER DMF-P and maXYmos process monitors, the executing service must be run under a specific user account. This user account must be a member of the Administrators group. The upload for KISTLER DMF-P and maXYmos process monitors cannot work if is running the VDog MasterService application or the VDog UploadAgent/VDog CompareAgent applications under the user account Local System.

To configure jobs for KISTLER DMF-P and maXYmos process monitors:

  1. Start the AdminClient.
  2. Open the Jobs module.
  3. Select your KISTLER component in the Project tree.
  4. Click on the Create button in the ribbon (in the Home tab).
  5. Select the job from the job list and go to the Job configuration column in the right-hand area of the dialog. There, select the Kistler upload type and configure the General and Upload and compare fields.
  6. Configure the Kistler settings section:
    1. Under Device, enter the IP address or the name of the device.
    2. Under User and Password, enter your user data for network access.
    3. Under Type, select the device class DMF-P *** * or maXYmosTL/NC**.
    4. You can make the following settings for the DMF-P * device class:
      1. Under Sensor X and Sensor Y, select the appropriate sensors for your device.
      2. Under Display setting for the display, select Standard or Special (notebook 16/9).
      3. Under Fieldbus, select the correct network for accessing the device.
      4. Activate or deactivate the Create delivery note for the backup checkbox and enter a comment for the delivery note if necessary.
    5. You can make the following settings for the maXYmosTL/NC device class: If necessary, adjust the access port under Port. Port 22 is set by default.
  7. Configure the File specifications and compare settings section.

    Here you can adjust the comparison for the job.

    1. Activate the Enable custom configuration for this job checkbox.
    2. Click on the Edit button.
    3. The Settings for backup files dialog opens.

  8. Save the job and test it with Execute selected jobs once.

You can implement further settings for jobs of this upload type in the AdminClient in the Global settings dialog and by using the INI files.
