Configuring comparisons

When using KUKA projects, you can exclude defined variables from the comparison if this may be necessary. A comparator configuration has been developed for this purpose. You can adapt this dynamically to the circumstances using a joker * (free text field).

A prerequisite for the configuration of the comparison is that the project is available as a ZIP archive.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the UserClient.
  2. Select the component you want to customize.
  3. Select the Edit tab in the menu bar or in the context menu (right mouse button) Edit component configuration.
  4. Click on the Comparator configuration button. The Comparison configuration dialog will then open.
  5. If there are several projects in a component, select the corresponding project from the dropdown menu.

  6. Under Exclude lines from comparison, enter the variable and then select OK.

  7. Click on Apply to save the change.
