Configuring the comparison for MOTOMAN-NX100

The System.sys file of the MOTOMAN project has a timestamp that is recognized as a difference. To avoid this, change the comparator configuration so that the line with the timestamp is excluded. You can do it globally for the component or for individual jobs.

Configuring the comparison for the component

  1. Open the Comparison configuration dialog.
  2. In the tabs, search for the system.sys file.
  3. In the Exclude lines from comparison field , enter the TOTAL : 2???/??/?? ??:???,?????:???'?? string.
  4. Select OK to confirm.

Configuring the comparison for individual jobs

  1. Go to the Compare these files field.
  2. Select the cmos.bin line and then select Remove.
  3. Select the system.sysfile.
  4. Select Configure comparator.
  5. In the Exclude lines from comparison field, enter the TOTAL : 2???/??/?? ??:???,?????:???'?? string.
  6. Select OK and save your changes.
  7. Once you have finished the job configuration, execute the job once.
  8. Start the UserClient, open the Jobs tab and select the job.
  9. In the Job results area, select the newly created backup.
  10. Select Copy version to directory in the menu bar.
  11. Select the working directory of your component as the destination and select Next.

  12. Select Replace and copy.

    Warning

    Don't select Delete contents then copy to avoid deleting the CMOS.bin file.

  13. Select a new version and check it in.
