Uploading with the Standard License of the editor is only possible from version 10 onward. For versions below 10, a Professional License is required.

To integrate RSLogix 5 projects, the following software versions must be installed on the same computer on which the octoplant server or agent is running.
- RSLogix 5 (Standard and Professional Edition)
- RSLinx Classic or FactoryTalk Linx (formerly RSLinx Enterprise Edition)

If you are upgrading to FactoryTalk Linx:
- Uninstall RSLinx Classic before proceeding with the upgrade.
- Manually reconfigure the communication path in the Job configuration area.
- If you are using agents, ensure the agent services are running with administrative privileges.

- To perform uploads, the VDog MasterService or VDog UploadAgent/VDog CompareAgent services must not run under the Local System user, but under the administrator account or an account with administrative rights.
