Creating jobs

  1. Open the AdminClient and click on Jobs.
  2. Select your Schneider Concept component in the Project tree.
  3. Create a job with the Schneider Concept upload type.
  4. Configure the General and Upload and compare fields.
  5. Configure the Schneider Concept settings.
    1. Select the Schneider Concept project via the Project dropdown menu. This option is only relevant if there is more than one project in the component.
    2. Select Access path dropdown menu. You can choose between PC >[TCP/IP] >PLC or PC >[TCP/IP] > Gateway >[MODBUS+] >PLC. The option BridgedModbusPlus is only available if you have selected the access path PC >[TCP/IP] > Gateway >[MODBUS+] >PLC.
    3. Enter the IP address or the name of the Device.
    4. Under Advanced you can set a delay of 0ms to 5000ms with the option Waiting time between two subsequent packets (in ms). The default value is 0ms. Higher values are recommended if interference or transmission errors occur.

You can implement further settings for jobs of this upload type in the AdminClient in the Global settings dialog.

Warning

The following error message with the error code ID 126 may occur when creating jobs, during upload and during comparison in the UserClient.

In this case, proceed as follows:

  1. Stop the VDog MasterService under Control Panel > Administration > Services.
  2. Copy the msvcr71.dll file from the directory with the current installation files, subdirectory \tools\Microsoft (example: Z:\{installation folder}\tools\Microsoft)
  3. Paste the copied file in the program directory into the vdogServer and vdogClient directories or, if you are using agents, vdogAgents. (Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\vdogServer, C:\Program Files (x86)\vdogClient or C:\Program Files (x86)\vdogAgents)
  4. Restart the VDog MasterService.
