Configuring the comparison for SICK scanner

In Sick projects, there are variables that are always different. You must exclude these variables from the comparison in order to obtain an equal version and backup.

  1. Open the Comparison configuration dialog.

  2. If there are several projects in a component, select the corresponding project from the dropdown menu.

  3. Enter @QuickstartInventoryVar\* under Exclude lines from comparison

    You can use a * wildcart character (free text field) and select OK.

    Example: The variables @QuickstartInventoryVar/Tags/0/EPC/13, @QuickstartInventoryVar/Tags/0/EPC/14 and @QuickstartInventoryVar/Tags/0/EPC/15 are excluded from the comparison by entering @QuickstartInventoryVar*.

  4. Select OK to confirm.
