File | Explanation | Optional |
---|---|---|
NC.ARC | Serial commissioning file, PROFIBUS drives and loadable compile cycles | No |
PLCSDB.ARC | PLC hardware upgrade | Yes |
PLC.ARC | PLC serial commissioning file | Yes |
Info
Depending on the job configuration, the compensation data may be contained in the file NC.ARC
. The compensation data is located in the files AX_QEC.INI
, AX_EEC.INI
and NC_CEC.INI
. Even if NC.ARC
, DP.ARC
, CC.ARC
and PLCSDB.ARC
should be separated at file level, they are always logically assigned to NC.ARC
in the comparison display.
The PLC's serial commissioning file (SIBN) is created based on the Job configuration, but is not taken into account in a comparison. To perform a comparison of the SIBN file, create an S7 component and create a job for it.
Jobs for SINUMERIK 840D HMI Advanced (solution line)¶
- Start the AdminClient and open the Jobs module.
- Select a Sinumerik840D component in the Project tree.
- Click on the Create button in the menu bar or drag and drop the component into the Jobs area.
- Check whether the upload type Sinumerik840D is displayed in the Job configuration area. The Notification and Create a version automatically after job run sections are only displayed if the required settings have been made. Activate the Enable configuration of job-specific compare checkbox if you want to exclude files and variables from the comparison and/or check their existence. This allows you to customize the comparison of the files
NC.ARC
,DP.ARC
andCC.ARC
.
Info
Configure the exclusion of the file NC\INITIAL.INI
for the NC.ARC
file to avoid changes due to the Current values during comparison. The file exclusion can be done in two ways:
- Exclusion of the complete file
NC\INITIAL.INI
- Exclusion of individual parts of the
INITIAL.INI
file (example:*$MA_ACT*
and/or*$MN_POVCTRL*
)
If you are working with an empty SINUMERIK component for which there is not yet a basis version, select the Compare policyPrevious backup <-> Backup under Upload and compare.
-
Configure the SINUMERIK 840D settings section:
- For Project, select Archive NC.ARC that the job is to back up.
- For Device type, select the Solution line value.
-
For Access path, select the connection path via which octoplant communicates with the SINUMERIK Controller. The Access path details changes according to the selected access path. Example:
-
Configure the Backup section.
- Activate the Create SIBN file for PLC checkbox so that the PLC data is also backed up in the SIBN archive.
-
Activate the With compensation data checkbox if you also want to back up this data.
Info
We recommend that you always back up the compensation data together with the NC data. If there is collision of model data on the memory card of the controller, this should also be backed up together with the NC data.
-
In the dropdown menu Contents of the backup, you have three options for backing up the online and offline data for selection.
-
When using the Online data only option, only data from the Controller is backed up.
Info
If the SINUMERIK Controller accesses files, no backup is created.
-
The Merge online and offline data option means: If the controller accesses files, this data is copied from the version (offline data) to the backup. The backup does not consist 100% of data from the controller.
- The option Merge if conditions are not met means: if the Create backup only if the following conditions are met checkbox is set and the conditions selected below it are not met, the data from the version (offline data) is copied to the backup.
-
-
The Create backup only if the following conditions are met checkbox is activated in advance and fulfills two conditions.
- Condition 1: all channels in
reset
: if not all channels are in reset on the controller, the job issues the error message that not all channels are in reset. - Under Condition 2: Tool in spindle, you have the choice: No tool in spindle Tool in spindle allowed if alarm is suppressed / Ignore tool in spindle.
- Condition 1: all channels in
-
In the Advanced section, you can activate SIMATIC NET if it is installed during a network transition and is to be used.
-
Save the job and execute it.
