Server configuration

Configure the TIA Project Server from which projects should be imported to octoplant with the following buttons. Normally, this is the TIA Project Server that is installed on the same computer as the importer itself. The URI for the server is required as the port can differ.

Adding a server

  1. Select the Add Server button.

  2. The Append Server dialog will then open.

  3. Enter a server name for a more convenient configuration.

  4. Enter the URI for the connection to the TIA Project Server e.g. https://127.0.0.1:8735.
  5. Confirm with OK.

Modifying a server

  1. Select the Modify Server button.

  2. The Modify Server dialog will then open.

  3. Select the server whose name or URI you want to modify from the dropdown menu.

  4. Change the entries and confirm with OK.

Deleting a server

  1. Select the Delete Server button.

  2. The Delete Server dialog will then open.

  3. Select the server you want to delete from the dropdown menu.

  4. Confirm with OK.
