General upload types

The following upload types can be used to configure jobs that back up project data across different devices and systems.

• Local directory

  Local jobs perform uploads of data stored on the computer on which the octoplant server or agent is installed.

• Network (UNC)

  Jobs with the upload type Network (UNC) carry out uploads of data to shared network resources via the protocol UNC (Uniform Naming Convention).

• FTP

  Jobs with the upload type FTP access an FTP server.

• SSH

  Jobs with the SSH upload type access an SSH server.
