  2. Go to the SSH settings section.

  3. In the SSH server field, enter the IP address of the server to which a connection is to be established.

  4. Set the port through which communication is to take place. Port 22 is set by default. You may need to enable the port in your firewall.
  5. In the (Username and Password) fields, enter the credentials of the user who is to access the SSH server. The user must have the necessary access rights.
  6. If the data is stored in a subdirectory of the SSH server, enter the path of the subdirectory. Access to the subdirectory must be possible with the specified credentials.
  7. To ensure that the the login to the SSH server is possible with the specified credentials, select the Check button. If the check is not successful, the job will also fail.

  8. Go to the Advanced section.

  9. Select the Upload only when timestamp is different (reduces network load) checkbox to ensure that the timestamp instead of the content of the files is checked during the upload. This means that only new and edited files are uploaded for a backup. Files without changes are transferred from the previous backup, which further limits the network load.
