Creating jobs for AVEVA System Platform

  1. Create a job with the Wonderware System Platform or AVEVA System Platform upload type.

  2. Go to the Wonderware System Platform/AVEVA settings section.

  3. Select from the Upload via dropdown menu whether the upload is to be performed via GR Access or via the Galaxy Backup Utility.

  4. If the component contains several projects, select the desired project from the dropdown menu.
  5. In the GR node name field, enter the name of the Galaxy repository (network/server name) that you want to back up. This parameter can be left blank if the local GR Node is being backed up.
  6. In the Galaxy name field, enter the name of the Galaxy to be backed up.
  7. If your Galaxy is password protected, enter your credentials in the User and Password fields.

The backup created is identical to the backup you created via the System Management Console.

The result is suitable for a detailed comparison as well as for a disaster recovery and further processing.
