Configure jobs for AVEVA System Platform

  1. Create a job with the Wonderware System Platform or AVEVA System Platform upload type.

  2. From the Upload via dropdown menu under Wonderware System Platform/AVEVA System Platform settings, select whether the upload should be performed via GR Access or the Galaxy Backup Utility.

  3. If the component contains several projects, select the desired project from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the GR node name field, enter the name of the Galaxy repository (network/server name) you want to back up. This field can be left blank if the local GR Node is being backed up.
  5. In the Galaxy name field, enter the name of the Galaxy to be backed up.
  6. If your Galaxy is password-protected, enter your credentials in the User and Password fields.

The backup created is identical to the backup you would create via the System Management Console.

The result is suitable for detailed comparison, disaster recovery and further processing.
