Configuring BECKHOFF TwinCAT V2 comparisons

For TwinCAT V2 projects, you can configure passwords for project comparisons. If a project is password-protected, you must enter the password in the comparison settings; otherwise, SmartCompare cannot be executed.

1. Open the Comparison configuration dialog.

   

2. If there are several projects in a component, select the corresponding project from the dropdown menu.

3. In the File area, enter the passwords for reading and writing.
4. In the CODESYS user area, enter your credentials.
5. Select OK to confirm.
