BECKHOFF TwinCAT V3
TwinCAT is a software suite from BECKHOFF Automation GmbH & Co. Kg. With the BECKHOFF TwinCAT software system, almost any compatible PC can be used as a PLC and CNC controller as well as an operating device.

octoplant supports both BECKHOFF TwinCAT V2 and V3. These instructions only refer to BECKHOFF TwinCAT V3, V2 is covered separately under BECKHOFF TwinCAT V2.

Requirements
- BECKHOFF TwinCAT V2 and V3 projects cannot be integrated simultaneously in one TwinCAT component.
- Encrypted TwinCAT projects cannot be integrated.
- To carry out uploads and comparisons, a compatible version of the editor must be installed on the same computer on which the server or an agent is running.
