Configuring jobs for Bosch Rexroth System 3xxx
- Create a job with the Bosch Rexroth Tightening System (System 3xx) settings upload type.
- Go to the Bosch Rexroth Tightening System (System 3xx) settings section.
- In the Device field, enter the name or IP address of the device.
- In the Location of the Sys3xxDMCon service field, enter the IP address of the computer on which the Windows service Sys3xxDMCon is running. If the service is running on the same computer as the application
Sys3xxBackupClient.exe
and the octoplant server, enter the value localhost here. - In the Location of the BackupClient field, enter the path to the file
Sys3xxBackupClient.exe
. The applicationSys3xxBackupClient.exe
performs the actual backup, i.e. copying the files from the device to the local directory. - If errors occur during job execution, you can enable the Windows Event Tracing Log (ETWTrace.log) option to generate an
ETWTrace.log
file with additional details for troubleshooting. - Optional: You can select the Advanced expert settings checkbox to create your own configuration file for the Sys3xxBackupClient for test purposes. You can find a description in the documentation by Haller and Erne. Note that the settings in the Bosch Rexroth Tightening System (System 3xx) settings section fields take precedence over those in the configuration file. Any values already entered in these fields do not need to be included in the configuration file, as they will override conflicting entries.
