Configure jobs for Cognex In-Sight FTP

  1. Create a job with the Cognex Sensors upload type.
  2. From the Type dropdown menu under Cognex Sensors settings, select the In-Sight (FTP) device class.
  3. In the Device field, enter the IP address or the name of the device.
  4. Select appropriate checkbox to use passive FTP.
  5. In the Port field, change the port, if necessary. Port 21 is set by default.
  6. In the User and Password fields, enter the credentials for the user account used to access the device.
  7. To save and include JPG or BMP images in the upload, select With pictures.

The backup created is identical to the project created by Cognex In-Sight Explorer. The result is suitable for a detailed comparison, further processing and disaster recovery.
