Workflow for editing projects
Check-Out
During Check-out, if zenon is installed on your client computer, octoplant opens your project in your local working directory and copies it into the Central Project Database. If a project is already present on the Central Project Database, it will be overwritten.
Open with editor
The zenon editor opens the project located in the workspace (Central Project Database) for editing. The project directory is not opened at the same time.
Create new version
If the zenon editor is installed in your client computer, during versioning, octoplant copies the project data from the Central Project Database into the working directory. During Check-In, the project is copied from the working directory into the server.
