Configure jobs for Ignition SCADA

Prerequisite

• To run jobs successfully, check-in first a base version with the project file backup.gwbk. For more information on integrating projects, see General workflow -> Integrate projects.

Procedure

1. Create a job with the Ignition SCADA Gateway upload type.

2. To include the date and time in the backup filename, select the checkbox under Ignition SCADA Gateway settings.

   Note

   Enabling the checkbox Include date/time in backup name, causes the backup filename to change with every upload. This leads to differences being detected after each upload, even when no meaningful changes were made.

When the job is executed, the gateway connected to the octoplant agent is backed up into the backup.gwbk file.
