Backup requirements for MOTOMAN-NX100

An essential prerequisite for performing a backup of a MOTOMAN-NX100 is that the FTP server can access the machine:

  • Activate the FTP function on the NX100. General parameters: FD***=1

  • Activate the FTP server setting: Command Remote. General parameters: RS001=1 or use the following steps on the programming device:

    1. Management Mode
    2. IO
    3. Pseudo Input Signal
    4. Command Remote=on

This option is only available on devices with version NS3.00.00A (*)-00 or higher.

  • If necessary, set the RS007 parameter to the value 2. General parameters: RS007=2 This option extends the functionalities of the read-only mode of the data transfer function. When using the Command Remote mode (PSEUDO INPUT SIGNAL set to CMD REMOTE SEL and programming device switched to REMOTE), you don’t need to set the parameters.
