Requirements

  • To perform uploads, ensure that a compatible version of the editor is installed on the same machine where the server or an agent is running.

  • It is recommended to launch either the agent or the VDog MasterService (whichever is in use for this device) as an application, under the following conditions:

    • The Upload Agent must be installed on the same system as Omron Sysmac Studio.
    • The agent must run with sufficient user privileges.
    • Running the agent in an interactive user session is recommended for optimal reliability.

To enable uploads in Sysmac Studio, the file SysmacStudio.exe.config must contain the line <add key="WcfServiceEnable" value="True" />. SysmacStudio.exe.config is contained in the OMRON\Sysmac Studio folder in either the Program Files or Program Files(x86) folder, depending on operating system.
