Configuring Omron Sysmac Studio jobs

Prerequisites for performing a backup

• Clear the Start monitoring safety application checkbox. This setting is located in Sysmac Studio under Option > Safety > Monitoring safety applications > Start monitoring safety application. If this checkbox is selected, the upload will fail because a dialog appears in the editor that must be closed manually during the upload process.
• Ensure the C:\Program Files\OMRON\Sysmac Studio\SysmacStudio.exe.config file contains the following line: <add key ="WcfServiceEnable" value="True" /> The value has to be set to True.

Procedure

1. Create a job for the Omron Sysmac Studio upload type.

2. If the component contains several projects, select the desired project file (.pro) from the dropdown menu under Omron Sysmac Studio settings.
